Some commentors on the Hooker Falls post mentioned that they enjoyed the hike from Hooker Falls to Triple Falls. Well, the further the hike that day, the foggier it became. Here is a terrible shot of Triple Falls, taken the same day as the photographs of Hooker Falls. The fog was so dense that one can barely see the middle part of Triple Falls and cannot see the top falls at all.
I promise some better photographs of Triple Falls when the weather clears. Hopefully while the water flow is still normal.

wow that is an awesome sight !
Merry Christams too, and stay warm :-)
It may be foggy but it has a beauty all its own.
I love the effects of fog in a photo.
There is something so calming about moving water. Somewhere I read that it has to do with "negative ions?" Any scientists here that can tell us why? Even in the fog the falls are beautiful. I'll be looking forward to more shots of that!
Definitely more water than when we were there. I can't wait to go back!
Wow Carolyn.... Thanks for this picture. We've hiked places before where it got very foggy the higher we went. BUT--there's alot more water now at Triple Falls than when we were there.
Thanks for the addendum.
Hugs,
Betsy
I just visited your two posts on Hooker Falls. I'm happy you got gentle rain, and not a rip-roaring flood. Still, it isn't a bad photo. It sets a mood and show's what is going on at that moment in time.
I hope you return to normal rain this year.
