As an added bonus, we have a full moon this week. It rises just before the sun goes down and is incredibly beautiful.
There is still sufficient light to show the colorful trees as well as the full moon.
Here is the relection of the moon and the trees in the waters of a nearby lake.
As the sun goes down, the moon is surrounded by a lovely orange glow.

Carolyn: What a great shot of old man moon, I love that great lake reflective shot.
Yes, the full moon and the crisp autumn evenings have been beautiful this week! I love the picture of the moon and the autumn foliage reflecting in the water!
I, also, was sitting and enjoying that ole moon last evening! I love pictures in sequence, that show change or movement! Great shots! Thanks for visiting my blog, I appreciate your comments. You always have such nice photos, its fun to see what images you've captured with your camera.
Yes, the cool, crisp nights make the moon more clear, it seems. Beautiful.
Last night, it was as if there was a gigantic nightlight on outside! No matter which way I turned, it was coming through the blind slats and bathing my face! :c)
I do love the autumn moon. Clear & crisp 10 deg F mornings, trees dropping leaves for a winter's sleep, the snow line creeping down the ridges toward the valley...
WOW--and double wow.
Yeah, tonight is full moon. The October full moon--the Hunter's moon.
I will have to go out tonight and see what the full moon looks like here.
Your photographs are wonderful....how very romantic to sleep by the light of the moon.....
