Perfect Days

We are having perfect mountain weather.  Warm, sunny days and cool nights.  It was 48 degrees early this morning.  Great weather for dogs and for people.

I love sitting on the deck and watching the birds in this kind of weather.  It gives added value to that first cup of coffee.  We have fledglings of all sorts, flitting around and trying to make sense of this new world they share with us.  We love them all.

And while we enjoy this perfect weather, our thoughts go out to those here and abroad who are having disastrous weather.  We wish we could share this lovely mountain weather with you all.

Hi there,

"Saw" you over at Arkansas Patti's and decided to pay a visit. ;)

Your climate sounds perfect: warm summer days and cool evenings, similar to what we have normally experienced over the past years here in the Pacific northwest. We'll have to explore your neck of the woods.

Cute pictures of your birdie... We have a Carolina Wren nesting in a hanging basket on our front porch... fun fun..

Such a pretty bird, looks tropical with its bright red plumage......and sounds like perfect weather.

So nice to see your fledglings there. We aren't feeding any birds here, so no glimpses into the native birdlife. Glad the weather is so lovely. 48 degree mornings are the BEST!

I know. We have had spectacular weather here also but the news is full of tornadoes, floods and fires. I sometimes have survivor's guilt.

It's been really nice here too - enough rain, cool temps... I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Yes, our weather has been ideal lately. Love your close-ups of the cardinals.

Yes, indeed. Our weather is more like September than July here on the hem of the lone prairie...which means September might feel like July. We are loving it, though!

It's been nice weather here, too. I'm glad the weather is cooler now.

Betsy - Lucky you to have a wren nesting so near

Patti - Yes, I have a bit of the guilt too. But not enough to keep me from enjoying this weather.
