Cozy Goldens
The house was chilly this morning. So the "Golden Girls" decided to snuggle on the same bed after breakfast. Ellie is the one with the blue collar. Lucy is the one who decided to use Ellie as a pillow. Actually, she does this even when it's warm. Ellie is 4 and Lucy is 2. They are as different as most children. Ellie is mellow, eager to please and always obedient. Lucy was born on the 4th of July and is a firecracker. Fortunately, she knows that I'm always going to be the Alpha. Interesting, isn't it? Just like children, dogs have to be treated differently based on their personalities.

I have one of each also. A mellow one and a firecracker! Ellie and Lucy are beautiful. Makes me smile every time I see sibling dogs resting on each other :o)

Mary, Jayne - Thanks for the comments. We call them sisters, although Lucy and Ellie are only distantly related. They share a great grandfather (maternal on Lucy's side, paternal on Ellie's).
We also have one of each. Nellie is a freakin' loony and Hooper...well, it never occurs to him to move much.
Oh, I love that shot!! I love dogs so much and appreciate their love for one another. So cute!!
