Happy Turkey Day

We always have a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving Day.  This year it's only the two of us.  But there is still a big turkey to eat, for leftovers, for sandwiches, and some to freeze.  And we have plenty of turkeys decorating our home.  Here are a few.

Tom comes out every November

We just love the bouncy head on this one

And, of course, we fly a turkey flag.

HAVE A WONDERFUL THURSDAY, EVERYONE
WHETHER YOU CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING OR NOT

Love your decorations! We had Thanksgiving for two this year. I experimented with a crock pot turkey roast recipe. The turkey was very tasty! The stuffing on which the roast was nestled was okay, just more pudding than stuffing by the end, but loaded with cranberries and raisins. We had home-canned green beans and frozen sweet corn from Hickory, so we did have a bit of home to savor. And, per The Bug's request, we had pecan pie! It was a lovely day today in Xenia.
