I have developed a method of accessing my blog again. I still haven't decided whether to stay with blogger or move but at least I now have a way to let you know if I move.
It's been stormy here which seems appropriate to me this D-Day, especially given the political storms of yesterday. I love to watch the storms passing the mountains. Such beauty in the distance.
Lousy shot of the Red-bellied Woodpecker feeding the baby.
Finally the Pileateds have begun to bring their big baby to the tree near the feeders. Unfortunately, they invariably move to the back of the tree to feed. But I'll keep my eyes out. And we have chickadee fledglings all over the place along with the White-breasted Nuthatches and goldfinches. One fat cardinal fledgling is feeding himself now. Unfortunately, he takes the sunflower seeds to the deck rail where his father used to feed him. Makes a big mess all over the railing.
Hope this fix continues to work for me. Thanks, savvy daughter for the suggestion.

I'm glad it's working for you - for now.
Love the sky pictures - so gorgeous.
And of course the cardinal is making a mess - he's a teenager :)
I find Blogger to be very temperamental, sometimes refusing to allow comments and sometimes sending them two at a time. Other times features simply don't work at all, or are so slow I finally give up. I use Firefox. Jim
Glad to see you again here. Bird news sounds interesting. My cat just was calling to one of her friends through the window...you have to hear how a cat thinks a bird sounds. Definitely a new language.
I just love storm clouds. Those are beautiful pictures and keep sending the updates on your bird population. My trees are full of nesting birdsbut they are very difficult to see, oh but the morning chorus they give as I am heading from one building to the next to feed the guests is so incredible.
Glad to see you figured something out! I had a little fiasco myself and think I've managed to fix it, at least I hope so.
Great pics!
Blogger is like a someone you love but don't necessarily like and certainly don't trust. I keep telling myself that free counts for something.
Hope it continues to behave for you.
I'm keeping my eyes open for baby robins.
Yes, thanks for your daughter's assistance.
I love your mountain photos. After looking at the ones I took, I am in awe of yours!
So cool. a whole family. that is a great, lucky (read, "patience") photograph.

Such gorgeous pictures of the mountains with the storm clouds. And what a neat shot of the woodpeckers.
I'm glad you're back. Your pictures of the storm clouds are beautiful.
I love moody skies......and even better when they are crossing beautiful mountain tops :)
I had a Greater Spotted Woodpecker feeding her young in the garden yesterday....it is always lovely to see the juveniles, isn't it?
Hope this keeps working, as I would miss your blog very much.
We have had some dreary wet days too...kinda fits my mood lately. :) Best of luck with the blog issues.
Love your woodpeckers!
Nothing like have a computer-wise son or daughter. I know from personal experience... :)
Oh Mom loves that last picture.....
Good luck with your blogger issues...we currently have a question in with their technical support.
Hugs Madi and Mom
Glad to see you have blogger tamed at the moment. Are you using the new interface? I've been thinking about it, but can't bring myself to make the switch.
So beautiful there. Love your mountain photos, and look forward to seeing your pileateds.
I love the pictures of the clouds. You could write a poem about them!
I have been with Blogger since 2006and keep my fingers crossed ... so far no problems but I haven't opted for any of the new fangle stuff and keep my format very simple. I'm literally afraid to make any changes !
Thanks for your comments, everyone.
Wayfarin' - Blogger is certainly temperamental.
Patti - True that!
Nellie - Thanks for dropping by.
Darla - Thanks
Troutbirder - Both my kids are ever so much more techno-savvy than I am.
Robin - I haven't tried the new interface. Let me know if you take the plunge.
Ginnie - Me too! I haven't changed much of anything for fear it will create new problems.
