LIFE'S BETTER IN THE MOUNTAINS

Fridays are Golden

It's hot in the mountains! We're having record-breaking temperatures in the 90s! Wouldn't send a dog out in this weather. The Golden Girls don't do well in hot temperatures. You wouldn't either if you had to wear two coats even in the summer.

This shot was made earlier, when we had normal temperatures with open windows letting the mountain breeze blow through the house. We were doing some yard work and the girls were watching us from the window.

Pleez Mom. Can't we come outside too?

Wherever you are, I hope you are having nice weather. Have a wonderful weekend.

How can you refuse those pretty faces? It's 65 degrees and windy- we're looking at another evening and night of thunderstorms here in Minnesota. I hope you have a great weekend too.

What nice dogs. Glad your weather is holding up so nicely. People around here are complaining about how hot it is, but I just bite my tongue because a month ago, everybody was complaining about the cold and wondering when it will get warm. It seems some people will never be happy.

I guess it's just hot everywhere! Well, it's June - no spring this year; two weeks ago it was in the 40's! The girls look wonderful.

Lynne - they were even cuter when they were little butterball puppies. I had to look at them and envision 65-pound spoiled brats so that makes refusing easier. I hope you were spared the horrid storms in IN and WI.

Science guy - Yep. Same here.
Some folks are just whiners.

Helen - We've also had variation. Shorts one day and sweats the next.

Thanks, Kerri. I do hope it cools down at your place soon.
