This has been a brutal week for him. They took him to the OR on Tuesday and moved the pump out of his groin and put it higher, so he could try to have some mobility... and it failed. Wednesday, they tried (in the room) to reposition it and couldn't, so it was back to the OR. Still couldn't make it work, so they took it out and put a Swan back in his neck... so now he is without an assist pump and in tons of pain from the failed procedures. Thank goodness for pain medication, but even that has drawbacks. I hate seeing my child suffer and not be able to do anything to help him!<br /><br />Lucy would have a field day around the Medical Center, with all the helicopters flying around!
